March and April are now becoming big months in the direct sales industry, similar to October and November with sales and recruiting being at an all time high. This means we have the opportunity to generate large amounts of income through personal sales, group sales and growing our organization. Are you equipped with the skills to take advantage of that?

Many of us start a direct sales business because we dream of a better life. Maybe it’s the ability to pay for our daughter’s dance lessons, pay off some debt or take a well-deserved vacation. Or maybe you want to buy a new home, quit your full-time job or retire your partner. Whatever your dreams, direct sales is an industry that can probably get you there.

When I began to take my direct sales business seriously, I was a mom with a young daughter looking to add additional income to our household every month. In time, with hard work, passion and consistency, I built a million dollar organization by my 30th birthday. I was able to change the dynamics of our home life and create a life I always imagined. I now live in a beautiful home in Michigan that backs on to the lake, my husband is able to run his recording studio right in our home, I have an office for me and my staff members in our home and we get to enjoy vacations every year as a family.

Just like you, I had negative talk in my life. I had people telling me I wouldn’t succeed or couldn’t build a direct sales business or a direct sales training business. But I did it. And there is nothing extra special about me. I wasn’t born with natural abilities to become successful nor was it luck. It was hard work and specific strategies that I used to get where I am today.

And I want to teach those to all of you.

One of the most exciting aspects of direct selling is the flexibility and variety of options that are available. In fact, you should use several different methods of working your business and generating new contacts.

The more different things you try, the more you’ll create a broad base of profit that will sustain you – and the more you’ll appeal to a broader number of prospective team members. Conduct business in multiple ways, and you’ll be presenting options that appeal to the desires of prospects that may not be exactly like you. The following methods are all the ways I worked my business when I was in the field. These strategies were major contributors on how I was able to grow a large business and organization.
