Jumpstart Your June

Did you catch me LIVE on Facebook this month? At the beginning of the month, I always hop on live to share with you our monthly theme (this month is to be determined) and share some training tips!

If you haven’t watched it you can watch it >>> here. <<<

But I'm going to break it down for you here anyway (and give you some extra tips).

The key to an incredible summer is focus on getting more bookings in a short period of time. These bookings will give you momentum and additional events to roll into the summer and give you a jam packed calendar.

So, sit down with your planner (if you haven't grabbed it yet, you can here) and mark all the days this summer you want to book a party. If you mark it down, they will come!

Don't be fooled. In the summertime people are definitely interested in hosting parties. Think about it… Other than the holiday season – when is the time of year you socialize with people the most?

The summer!

Because we've said goodbye to the winter blues and we're enjoying the sunshine, we actually want to be active and busy. People are more inclined in the summer to be social. So, what types of parties can you offer and host?

You can do things like:

  • Patio Parties
  • Grilling Parties
  • Brunch
  • Sangria or Margarita Parties
  • Pool Parties
  • Bonfire Evening Events
  • Boat Parties
  • And more!

The great thing about summer is that you can literally do a party anywhere – from the park to the baseball diamond to your boat on the water! Summer is laid back, fun and simple and if you have that same approach with your parties, theres no reason why someone wouldn't want to host!

Summer is also great for impromptu socializing. Think about it – how often does a friend call you up in the summer and say hey why don't you and the kids come over to swim? Or hey we have some extra burgers we're firing up on the grill, why don't you and the fam come over?

This happens ALL the time. So your parties can be impromptu as well. You can call up a friend and say, “Hey why don't you pull a group of friends together this weekend? We can have some drinks by the pool and I can show you our new summer line of handbags?”

Guests also love summer parties because it is usually still light out when it ends! People are appreciative of that and still feel like they have their evening to enjoy with their families.

Spontaneous partying also means you MUST have a show-on-the-go with you at all times! You never know when you’ll end up on a patio with a group of potential customers! (Here's a blog post I did last year on how to be ready with a Show-On-the-Go.)
