A Mid-April Message from Belinda

As summer swiftly approaches, there’s been a topic that’s been on my mind recently.

Are you stuck in the “grass is always greener on the other side” mindset?

It’s so easy to compare our businesses, bodies, and everything else in between when we spend such a large amount of time on social media. As a direct seller, you can’t avoid these platforms, but you can avoid the negativity and discontent that crushes so many people’s confidence.

Remember, no one’s life is perfect.

Even though Sally is posting on Instagram about her perfect children, job, and husband, there’s so much more to her story.

Social media is where we post our greatest triumphs, not our biggest defeats. Trust me, other people are struggling with their imperfections, too. They just don’t want to broadcast it to the world!

Whenever you feel discouraged, think back to your WHY.

What is all of this for?

Why did you choose this career in the first place?

It’s so important to have clear, actionable goals that push you forward when everything else seems “unfair” or “impossible.” Like we mentioned in the previous newsletter, take advantage of upcoming graduations, Mother’s Day offers, and gift sets to stay motivated and focused on your success.

Use this month to practice gratitude for your progress. Discuss this topic of comparison with your team and help each other set boundaries for social media. Create a support system and pick each other up in times of need!

“Don’t compare your Chapter 1 with someone else’s Chapter 20.”

Be yourself and enjoy your wins. You deserve them!

XOXO,

Belinda
